Chapter One

This chapter is all about the fundamentals of journalism.  It talks about what would be the right education field to go into.  One would assume journalism but they say not unless it has liberal arts included.  They suggest going towards a generalistic degree.  Journalist need to have basic knowledge on just about everything that they want to write stories on.  They also talk a lot about objectivity vs. opinionated.  Objectivity is ideal.  That is where the news is told straight-up no bias or opinions.  Opinionated is just the opposite, much like FOX NEWS.
